Forgotten Tomb – Darkness in Stereo: Eine Symphonie Des Todes – Live in Germany

On the occasion of the release of their new DVD Darkness in Stereo: Eine Symphonie Des Todes – Live in Germany, Forgotten Tomb pay their fans a welcome homage by offering as a free download the recording of the concert held at the 2012 Kings Of Black Metal Festival in Ansfeld (Germany). Any self-respecting metal fan shouldn’t miss the chance to listen to the first official live document of the formidable band from Emilia Romagna, which in this scarce hour offers some of their workhorses, such as the more dated Todestrieb, Solitude Ways and Disheartenment and the more recent Reject Existence, Shutter and Spectres over Venice, but, of course, many others can be appreciated inside the DVD that contains three shows held by Forgotten Tomb in Germany during 2012. The concert, cleaned up just the right amount in terms of sound without in any way distorting its essence, shows Herr Morbid and associates in top form, capable of captivating the audience with a series of exceptional tracks under the banner of characteristic black-doom enhanced by guitar work with an innate melodic taste. The opportunity to make this excellent musical document one’s own is a great one, but while the most loyal fans will hardly miss the opportunity to get the DVD, especially those who do not yet know one of the best Italian bands in circulation have the chance to fill this serious gap, perhaps even going to retrieve some of the milestones of our extreme metal such as Songs To Leave and Springtime Depression.
