The Portuguese Decesso belong to that extreme Lusitanian metal scene that moves in the most putrid cavities of the underground; if most of the bands that are part of it are dedicated to black metal, even in the funeral field you can find a handful of interesting realities. One of them bears the unmistakable moniker Decesso, whose turnover so far is this self-titled album made of two tracks for 35 minutes of good funeral, played with skill and good atmospheric cues, as well as a peculiar use of acoustic instruments capable of bringing on another level the sound. It’s just a pity that, apart from the little information on the Facebook page, we know practically nothing about the band.
