In 2019 the indefatigable Déhà decides to give a new look to a rather outdated track like Same Old Sufferings, recorded as a single under the moniker Imber Luminis in 2011, combining it with a new track entitled Silences III; the result, as always, turns out to be not only excellent but, in several instances, even shocking. Where words fail, the music succeeds, and in this case also the images: in fact, below, you can enjoy the video recorded in Paderno Dugnano on the occasion of the only concert of Imber Luminis, during the Doom Heart Fest in 2019, when the performance of the Belgian musician really left an indelible mark on the audience thanks to a set of incredible intensity. Déhà doesn’t play a role, but gives back the purest image of the artist who, without filters, unleashes on the audience an almost unbearable load of suffering and torment that finds in music the ideal medium to penetrate the most sensitive souls. This is music with a cathartic effect which, with its sometimes savage force, first lacerates and then drains, leaving at the end sensations ranging from astonishment to the satisfaction of every sense. The 25 minutes of Same Old Sufferings I II III touch peaks of intensity bordering on paroxysm, with a transfigured Déhà supported for the occasion by Kjiel, an Italian musician who needs no introduction for those who follow the DSBM scene, a true feminine complement to the protagonist with her excruciating scream.
