Of the Russians Salvation not much is known, apart from the fact that they come from Ivanovo and that Happiness In Vacuum is their first full length that follows the 2018 ep Empty DImension, while stylistically they place themselves in the category of atmospheric funeral doom revealing a good melodic taste, facilitated by the frequent use of persuasive guitar passages not far from Gilmourian nuances, at least in the intention. The work does not reach half an hour of duration and if on the one hand the turnover is a bit small, considering the inclusion of a cover, on the other hand this facilitates the enjoyment of a sound much more melancholic than dramatic and that limits the roughness of extreme matrix. Salvation prove to be a reality with a good potential from which we can expect in the future something more substantial both in terms of minutes and approach to the genre.
