Rothadás – Kopár hant... az alvilág felé

In a rather flourishing historical period for death doom with a more grim matrix, also the Hungarian Rothadás join the fight. After last year’s demo, the duo formed by Tibor Hanyi and Lambert Lédeczy released their debut full length without skimping on commitment or orthodoxy in their approach to the subgenre. Although with a fatal attraction to the death component of the sound, the doom soul is clearly felt giving the work that morbid body capable of attracting interested listeners from both sides. A sufficiently evocative cover introduces to the world without light imagined by Rothadás who, in their mother tongue, tell who knows what kind of wickednesses of which it’s not possible to give an account as it’s not possible to find any text to feed to the online translator, even if titles like extreme unction, nail of the coffin and cemetery leave few uncertainties about the treated themes. No harm done, because in any case the music offered in Kopár hant… az alvilág felé is enough to keep the attention high during the three quarters of an hour distributed in five death doom tracks that are anything but banal or cheap.
